Hi Tara, You asked about AIT with my son (from Matthew's Puzzle). No, Matthew did not have any hearing loss. In regular hearing tests he tested within normal range. What alerted us to the issue was his symptoms such as covering his ears when loud noises are present, asking "what did you say" to many things, slower processing speed, odd gait, etc. Berard AIT treats auditory disregularities. So my son never would show up as a hearing impaired person on a regular hearing test. I hope this helps.
